Not as bad as people told me, John Huston delievers

I have to say I was pretty pleased by this movie. My Grandpa showed me this years ago on VHS, he said he didn't like it, but was showing it to me because I liked Jaws so much. He eventually ended up turning it off.

I bought the DVD and watched it today, I thought the whale effects were well done, imo. The movie had real good atmosphere, I really liked the overcast scenes, plus the music score was awesome! Loved all the performances too.
