Does anyone know what kind of plane was used in the filming? It seemed very ungainly! I wondered if they'd taken a standard issue plane and made some sort of changes to it but this might not have been practical or safe.

It's a Bristol Freighter according to IMDb, a stumpy looking cargo plane: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bristol_Freighter
