Near the end of the movie when Peck's character is reunited with his army buddy who is an elevator operator, I am sure I spotted a young Leslie Nielsen getting off the elvator behind Peck. Has anyone else noticed this?

shareI didnt see anyone that resembled Leslie Nielsen at around the age he made Forbidden Planet. The man behind him in the grey suit is the closest but I dont think its him. (I just rented it and watched it for the first time tonight.) Great movie by the way.
shareThe man behind Peck in the elevator (side view) has a slight resemblance to Nielsen but looks too old to be him in 1956, IMO.
shareNielsen was a fairly established actor at the time, especially on TV. "Forbidden Planet" came out in '56. He wouldn't have been doing an unbilled bit, unless it was an inside joke or maybe he was tight with Nunnally Johnson.
