Question about the ending

I was watching this movie on AMC but I missed the ending. I got up to the part where he tells his wife about the woman in Rome and his wife goes on the crazy streak and starts driving madly, what happens next?

A Martian spaceship sends a ray beam down onto the road, snatching Jennifer Jones into outer space. Gregory Peck then places a phone call to Italy and is soon reunited with his true love.

THE END

Thank you. I Tivo'd the movie from Fox Movie Channel last week, and somehow the ending wasn't recorded. After spending 2.5 hours watching, I was a bit miffed at not getting the last 5 or so minutes of it.

Well, as you said, there are lots of us on display on this site. Just lucky I stumbled onto another of your KG&T (kind, generous and thoughtful!) posts on this site the other day!

To quote James Cagney in ONE, TWO, THREE..."See you on the barricades, pal!"

You can find out the answer to your question by going to TCM.com (Turner Classic Movies) and searching for the film by title. You will then see on the left side of the screen "Complete Synopsis." Click on that. This detailed synopsis comes from "The American Film Institute, Catalogue of Feature Films, 1951-1960." In addition to the complete plot synopsis, there is much other information about the film there. Click on "Notes," among other items, and you will get production details, casting details, and so on. The American Film Institute has catalogues for film from 1890 until 1980 at the present time.
