Kidnapped son Hank says he is at 8 .....

When Dr. McKennen (Stewart) is on the phone talking briefly with his kidnapped son Hank, the son tries to give his location and says "8 ...", but is cut off by the kidnappers. Is there ever any later point in the movie when the number 8 comes into play?

It might have been the phone number on the dial in the centre of the public phone. He'd have no idea what street number he was at.
