This almost made me cry...

I finished watching Lust for Life just a few minutes ago...

It's a beautiful, moving film and has inspired me greatly for my project at college. But wow, it's really sad! The part where Vincent died...it was just so freaking sad, and I could feel tears welling up in my eyes. I didn't cry, but I could definitely feel the tears... T__T

I also thought the parts where he had a fit or was agonised were very upsetting. Nevertheless, this film is wonderful and it's a shame its so underrated.

It is a shame that his genius wasn't recognized while he was alive. If he had been alive today he would have lived in mansion just like our own Edgar Allan Poe.

I still can't believe that people were so cruel to him if it were so as this movie showed. Shame on them.

If he were alive today and had made a billion from his paintings he would still be batshit crazy. Maybe pharmacological science could alleviate his symptoms.
