Yul and Deborah

They had great chemistry on screen. Too bad they only worked twice(King & I plus The Journey)Dear Yul was so awesome and Kerr was so graceful

Yeah, they did. I loved this movie as a little girl and still love it today. One of the best parts was when they danced. I remember thinking that they were falling in love in that scene and I actually thought he was going to kiss her when he was putting his arm on her waist. Actually I was also in the play when I was about 7 years old. It was great! They had me tug on the king's pants to get his attention in one scene and in another I had to crawl under the kings' feet, bow in front of him and he had to pick me up. I'll never forget it.

First I would say that NOBODY can hold a candle to Yul and Deborah's performance in this movie. This classic is so LEGENDARY. I thought they both really did love each other even though their lives were much different. The dance scene was so HOT and there is no man that I find that can be the SEXIEST as the HOTTIE Yul over here. If Siam really had him as their ruler, I hope they don't mind me spending the night with their King. Yul is a fine SEXY AS HELL king of sizzle HOTNESS forget about Colin Farrell as Alexander the Great. I could imagine his subjects screaming "You are so worthy! You are so worthy!" LOL . My junior high school did "The King and I" and I had two roles I played the one of the king's wives and a chorus member in "The Uncle Tom's Cabin" scene and my friend played Tuptim and her boyfriend at the time played The King. It was fun doing it on stage but I prefer the movie instead.
