Does anyone remember who sings "Shall We Dance?" ? Is it Anna or The King? I need to know ASAP, thanks!

Anna sings most of it, but the King sings a few lines of it. They dance it together.

You don't need to know who sings what part of a song in order to download it. Idiot.

The funny thing is, GErtrude Lawrence (who was in it on stage) didnt have a great singing voice Either (somewhat said she had the greatest range betw one note and another of any performer in history) I believe she had died by the time the movie was made so there was no controversy about passing her by for the part.

Ironically you have almost Identical situations betw 3 movies this one, My fair lady, and the music man in which once the decision was made to cast the original leading man, the female role went to a big star, only one of whom, Shirley JOnes could actually sing...In teh other 2 cases they went with name stars who were not up to the vocal demands of the parts (audrey hepburn could sing, but not a part written for Julie Andrews)...thus putting Marnie Nixon into the trivia lovers hall of fame

I believe she also sang the role of Maria in "West Side Story"

Have you accepted Alan Rickman as your personal Saviour?
