She was 86.

That's sad. She will be missed.

Someone just wrote Kerr's husband screenwriter Peter Viertel just passed away this week about three weeks after her death. It must have been hard for him to live without his wife.

If it weren't for the imdb, I never would have heard about Kerr's death. It was not reported anywhere, not even on ENTERTAINMENT TONIGHT or other related TV magazine shows.
