What is the exact working of the king's description of men and women...something like a woman is like a flower, and a man is like a bee...?

I know the experts at IMDB boards will come through for me!

This is a paraphrase of a song from the show called "The Song of the King," which only appears in part in the film. In the film, the King says, "But it is a silly complication of a pleasant simplicity. A woman is designed for pleasing man. A man is designed to be pleased by many women." Anna: "Then how do you explain the fact, Your Majesty, that many men are faithful to one wife." King: "They are sick." Anna: "But you do expect women to be faithful?" King: "Naturally!" Anna: "But why naturally?" King: "Because it is natural. It is like old Siamese rhyme; A girl must be like a blossom, with honey for just one man. A man must be like a honey bee and gather all he can. To fly from blossom to blossom, a honey bee must be free. But blossom must not ever fly from bee to bee to bee." I hope this helps. The King and I is my favorite film of all time and Deborah Kerr is my screen goddess!

"King: A woman is a female who is human

Designed for serving man the human male

The human Male is pleased by many women

And all the rest you hear is fairy tale.

Anna: So tell me how this fairy tale began sir

You cannot call it just a poet's trick

Explain to me how many man are faithful and true to one wife only?

King: They are sick!

A woman must be like a blossom, with honey for just one man

A man must be like Honey bee and gather all he can

To fly from blossom to blossom, the honeybee must be freee

But blossom must not ever fly from bee to bee to bee!"

On the soundtrack album, this piece is referred to as "Anna and the King."
