I love this Musical.. so much so that when I got married I had this particular track as I walked in.

o_O Is that a joke? The Siamese children were the sons and daughters of the king of Siam... it was the song when they all introduced themselves...

And oh wow, that would be a beautiful wedding march song. Just entering on the same part the Prince does.

Def my favourite part of the film.. music wise.
That part makes me catch my breath everytime.

I keep hearing the music they used in this scene, but it isn't from Rodgers & Hammerstein...could they have used someone else's music for that?

There was a King and I revival on West End a few years back, for which they reorchestrated the entire score for traditional Thai instruments. It sounds absolutely AMAZING, look for the CD. Here's a link, maybe you can find it at a library or something
