Yul Brynner was very sexy!

I don't understand how somebody could not get excited by this film.

I totally agree, Yul Brynner was my first movie star crush when he was The King in this movie. Ever since I was little girl I always wanted to be Anna because of him. No man could ever look that amazingly beautiful like he did in The King and I and as Pharoah Rameses in The Ten Commandments.

I really enjoyed the way Yul performed A Puzzlement. The song is so philosophical and mesmerising. Yul is definatley one of the sexiest men ever to appear on screen, in my opinion.

Yul and Deborah Kerr made a gorgeous couple in The King and I. I know that they made another film together The Journey which I have yet to see.

Jacvi, I absolutely agree about Yul performing A Puzzlement, he was such an amazing, larger than life performer and actor. I always thought both Yul and Deborah Kerr were such a wonderful couple and had such a strong chemistry on screen, I wish they had work together in more films. You should definitely see The Journey, it's a good movie and one of their best works. It was on the Turner Classic Movie Channel not too long ago. You can watch The Journey on YouTube but it is split up in parts, it is worth a watch.

I will be sure to watch The Journey when I get the chance as I am also a fan of Deborah Kerr.

It never ceases to amaze me to see how hot Yul is in The King and I film hehehe.

I always thought it would have been interesting if Yul had made a film with Marilyn Monroe.

Jacvi, I was thinking that too about Yul and Marilyn Monroe doing a film together. They were suppose to play the leads in the 1958 movie The Brothers Karamazov together but the producers thought that Marilyn Monroe was not fit to play serious roles or dramatic films so they put actress Maria Schell in the lead opposite Yul's character in The Brothers Karamazov. I thought it would have been interesting and amazing to see both of them playing lead in that movie. That was unfortunate that they didn't get a chance to co-starred with one another.

I saw The Ten Commandments the other day with Yul. He was very sexy in that film as well. The costumes in that film and in The King and I really show off his nice physique and striking, exotic looks.

Yul was a gorgeous looking man with powerful presence. He was simply oozing sexiness. I can't think of any current male film actors who could compete with him.

I don't think anyone could have been a better King of Siam and Rameses. Just saw The King and I an hour ago LOL.

Getting excited by Brynner's charismatic performance and getting excited about the condescension of the script are two different things.
