I just watched this musical after yeaaaaaars! This movie made me laugh and smile!! He's such an adorable king! The way he acts around people and reacts to certain things... How he'd say something thrice... Sit sit sit! Eat eat eat! Teach teach teach! Et cetera, Et cetera, Et cetera...

Cute scene was when they were dancing and he goes...

123 123 123 *pause* something wrong.. I know I know.. I forget "and" next time I remember! Hahaha cute!

This one, strange as it may sound given all the vehement criticisms I have leveled against this movie.

The enormous appeal of Brynner's king can't be gainsaid, no matter how we may feel about the movie's underlying ideological message.
