Elisha Cook & Marie Windsor

I think they are a terrific pair in this movie. I haven't researched much about them, however, and would love to know if they were friends in real life. For some reason, that would not surprise me.

They reunited, btw, at least once that I know of. I watching to old TV movie "Salem's Lot" (1979) the other night and they both had small roles. They share one or two moments on screen together. Cook is the town drunk and Windsor is a landlady. They appear to have a past together and Windsor later reminisces about Cook's character when they were young. Kinda fun!

Incidentally, I always thought the great Geoffrey Lewis looked remarkably similar to Cook. He is in Salem's Lot as well although their character have zero interaction/connection.
