The Gillespie boy?

I don't see a credit for the son of Detective and Gillespie, the boy who gives up his room to Rhonda Fleming. He was only on screen for a minute or so, but he sure looked like Mickey Dolenz. Anyone agree? I can't find any reference to his being in the movie, but this was filmed around the time he was making Circus Boy on TV. Does anyone know if this really was him, or if not, who the actor was?
