Hey, that was Mr. Ziffel from Green Acres!

One reason why i love to watch old movies is to find actors in them who went on to be in TV shows i watched as a kid. as soon as Ellis, the old man who helped Cliff, came out of his house, i recognized him as Mr. Ziffel, the owner of Arnold the pig, from Green Acres. love it when that happens.
