Im watching this movie now. Does anyone know if Jourdan actually played the piano. It looks like he is playing. Being a concert pianist on the side should be on his IMDB page, but it isnt, so I wondered if he really did play. Can anyone help with this info

sharei researhed your question and no where can i find a source that states that he plays or played the piano, even though he played a concert pianist in "Julie" and "letter from an unknown woman". surprisingly enough, he's still alive at the age of 93, if you can find him, you could ask him.
shareOf course it wasn't him.The most mind blowing piano playing was by Richard Chamberlin in THE MUSIC LOVERS. See it on Utube. It is breathtaking.
In fact, Richard Chamberlain did not play in The Music Lovers. In an interview (available on You Tube) he states he practiced with a paper keyboard and filmed the scene with a dead piano. He was only trying to look like he was playing. He does though play piano, though not at that level.

shareI watched very carefully, since it looked to me, too, like he was playing. I think he was actually playing the keyboard, but not being recorded, because there was a spot where his fingers didn't match the music. So, I think he can actually play, but not that well.
