Airfields Shown In Film

Can anybody confirm the airfields shown in the film?

I am fairly sure the opening shots are of RAF Manston in Kent, England. In use by the USAF from 1951 to 1958. They used the F86's and F84 used in the shots as well.

The return airfield appears to be RAF Northolt in West London (close to Pinewood Studios).
