R1 DVD arriving 8/16/11

Ill Met By Moonlight, in its original British title and length, is being released on DVD by Hen's Tooth Video on Aug. 16, 2011, at a retail price of $19.99. The film had previously been issued by its American distributor, Columbia, under its US title, Night Ambush.

Hen's Tooth is the same outfit that gave P&P's superior The Battle of the River Plate its first-ever US DVD release, last year. That disc's quality was excellent, so this should be too...although, bluntly, the film is nothing special.
