A good western!
I recommend it. It is an offbeat one but still good.
shareI can't understand the low rating. Did I miss something?
It's slightly sub-par but not really bad.
>500 votes speak in favor of the movie. Most Westerns of the 1950s have about 100 votes.
You didn't miss anything...just most people don't appreciate a good B western anymore.
shareActually, the reason it has a lot of votes and many of them low is that MST3K skipped sci-fi/fantasy for a week and picked on this film.
shareThe whole premise is bizzare. How could it be a good movie. Totally unbelievable!!
shareCouid you explain!
The only thing unbelieveable is trying to kill a sherif who will be soon out of duty anyways.
PURSUED for comparison is completely unbelievable.
Intersting western when the Marshal is better looking than all the saloon girls.
shareI think it is the best of Roger Corman's westerns. It's offbeat quality attracts me. It's always good to see one of Corman's stock players, Jonathan Haze. I liked him as crazy Jake. He always seemed to get shot in Corman's films. He was in 'Five Guns West' too. I like Allison Hayes as the scheming saloon keeper.
shareIt was pretty bad. Ireland goes from Cherry Valence to this?
If someone has a gun trained on you you might want to take cover. Esp if it's a Winchester.
Kisskiss, Bangbang
I always like John Ireland..and I liked him in this...Ireally liked his line near the end where he asks Rose..in case I don't see you again, is it a 2 way thing? and when she says yes..he takes a shot...LOL...
