If You Are a True Fan

of boredom and predictability, this is the film for you as you will certainly not be disappointed.

Believe those who are seeking the truth; doubt those who find it.

Obviously 1) You never saw high noon. 2) you failed to notice the interesting camera angles and the close-ups and dialogue and lend depth to stock characters, and 3) don't respect the film for what it is, a well-done B-movie. As someone has suggested, think of this as a kind of back story to "Gunsmoke," with "Rem" maybe being the original name for Matt Dillion. In any case, It give us at look at a young Angie Dickinson. Wow.

This piece of horse manure is far worse than High Noon. How you can compare them makes no sense.

Let it be unsaid: insignificance is the locus of true increpation.

reply

Rude. Just rude. I personally liked this movie.

I like the film and like the first of two reviews I agree that characterization is ample, there is tension and suspense built. This not meant to be full of gun battles and shoot-outs. I think is a better-than-average B western and done well, for what it is.
And yes, I agree with mink182. There is no reason to be rude or crude.

As a western goes, I would say this is does NOT rank high on the "predictable" scale. Without giving too much away, not everyone dies that you expect and some do who you don't, and who kills who is not the standard fare.
