Being Shown on MGM Today

I notice the opening credits say "introducing Angie Dickinson." However, she had appeared in several movies and TV shows prior to Gun the Man Down.

Also, at the beginning of the movie, when the three men rob the bank, James Arness is riding a buckskin horse which may have been the same one he always rode in Gunsmoke. It sure looks like the same horse.
