Very bad except for the very end!

I saw this movie just last night on TCM. Usually there is some trivia presented by Robert Osborne (even for the B-Movies of the 50's and 60's), but this time there wasn't so I had to assume it was another Z-grade movie from the 50's.

The movie was indeed weird because there were several moments where it was shown as a comedy. Mystery Science Theater could've done SOOOO much with this movie based on the bad-comedy-in-the-middle-of-a-horror/sci-fi-aspect alone!

BUT, I have to admit that it held my attention and I stuck with this movie until the very end. And I'm glad I did. The last 15 or so minutes of the movie was pretty good. Nice suspense. A bit surprising.
