TCM aired it this morning

This was one of the oddest movies I've ever seen. It was as if they started firming a drama & in the middle of filming someone ran in with new scripts and switched it to campy horror, then back again. When Paul Douglas is on I felt things would get done! We'd find out who was behind what and put an end to it. When his photographer was on it was high comedy. The guy ran almost the entire time he was on the screen. The movie held my interest though.the female lead reminded me of Ann Baxter. The Carnival costumes were wonderful. I would buy this very unique film.

Just for the record, I'm not a Dude, I'm a Dudette!

Me too. Some of the production team, such as cinematographer Ted Moore and production designer Syd Cain, went on to work on the Bond films. While its hardly a masterpiece, to dismiss it as a hokey piece of crap good only for a few laughs ( as some have done ) is to do it a grave disservice.
