Solid
This is a good little film w\the one & only Bob Mitchum.
-attractive ladies are offered as eye candy and the plot is fine and keeps one interest throughout.
Villains are a bit subtle which adds to the fun; '56 was a banner film.

...in addition:
-the sensual,throbbing,primitive music track is rather hypnotic
-Mr.Spring is such an interesting fellow
-the ambiance is noteworthy
-the European setting works for me !
-and,Mitchum,makes it worthwhile
plwblj,
i would just like to chime in for a moment and acknowledge that you speak truth about this movie. it is very much worthwhile.
thank you.
I was trying my hardest to make a Jacques Tati movie.
Glad to hear you've "chimed in" as I am a fan of a pic that is largely overlooked;
Ingrid(Brita)really takes the film "by storm" as far as I am concerned.She is "pure" charisma and one of the the real "hi-lites"of this otherwise average B picture back in '56.
Yeah I like it a lot too.
shareI liked Mitchum's performance, but I didn't find the story very interesting. 6/10 from me.
