Perhaps a UHD version on a massive 70" screen would look great.

You might want to check in with www.fathomevents.com once or twice a month. For the last 2 or 3 years they, usually in conjunction with TCM, have been sponsoring the limited showings of classic films on the big screen, featuring a new movie every month. I don't think they have shown any sci-fi movies yet, but ET will showing later this year. So Maybe they will show more of them sometime down the line. If you are interested in other genres, they have featured those, including Gone With The Wind and Sound Of Music. Coming up will be An Affair To Remember, All About Eve, North By Northwest, The Graduate, Smokey and The Bandit and The Godfather. I hope we can go see North By Northwest. It must have been great on the big screen.

I saw The Ten Commandments as a child, in its initial release. The Blu-ray is far superior in terms of sharpness, detail, and color quality.
