Ginger Rogers

Was she trying to affect some sort of different voice other than her own for most of the film? It seemed odd and annoying. Or was it just poor sound recording or am I just imagining things?

Another annoying thing about this picture - the color print (by Technicolor) shown on TCM was terribly uneven. Color hues keep changing. For example, when Arness is about to leave his hotel room after first meeting Rogers and Channing, note ow the color of their dresses change between shots as he goes to the door. It happens throughout the film and is noticable especially at scene or reel changes.

I can see why this film lead to the demise of RKO. What a stinker!
