Fine Film Noir

Finger of Guilt a.k.a. The Intimate Stranger, I caught on TCM years ago. Unfortunately, I haven't seen it since. Lower budget film no doubt but fine direction, cinematography and noirish feel not to mention an interesting story.

Perhaps we have to wait for a Losey event of some sort to see it again. Even then, Losey made so many films that not even a given.

Hi. You may have already seen the film again by now, but anyway, I just saw it last night on YouTube. Here's the link:

You're welcome. I'm also a Losey fan and a Basehart fan, so I had to see this one. Far from my favorite for both men, but it was still pretty good.

Enjoyed the thriller though it was a little far-fetched. Mary Murphy was the standout in a difficult part. Shame her career didn't develop in the way her talent would have expected her to.

Very interesting story that kept hold of my attention until the final credits. Richard Basehart was a truly phenomenal actor. I love watching him get into a part like this, full of mystery and questions. So happy I found this movie on YouTube!
