pretty hokey, but Glenn Ford is great


I cringed at much of the dialog and script during this... the scene where each town person in church stands up to swear they will say nothing is way over the top and laughable.

The bad guy who is supposedly "fast" (we won't even get into the discussion of how much they overplay the 'fast gun' thing here) was *badly* miscast, looking more like some middle aged boozed up bum you would find passed out in the ditch than a skilled killer as portrayed.

But... all that said, I still got sucked into the predictable story line by the great Glenn Ford. That guy was awesome.
