I was a great fan of westerns in the 60's and 70's - it is possible I watched it way back then as a kid - but I've forgotten if I did.

Still just caught up with it on TCM (good print) and what a pleasure it was to see it. Good acting - and a great score by Andre Previn (already a big star before he appeared on the Morecambe and Wise show and adverts for colour TV's)

I wonder if my mild mannered Londis store keeper has an interesting past?
