What little information I found online said she died as the result of childbirth, but in the movie, one of the characters said "It had nothing to do with childbirth."
shareThe cause of death was never made clear. Maybe looking for a death certificate might clear up this mystery.
shareGiven it was 5-6 days later, I would have thought an infection of some kind. But a newspaper article from the time mentioned she needed several blood transfusions.
