Is there a song missing on the soundtrack?

When Eddy comes to a party he thought he was invited for, but coming there he finds he was hust hired to play, he sits on piano and starts to play a song. There´s a cut for his first walk with Marjorie in the park, and the song keeps on playing, but now there´s an orchestra playing along. I don´t think that tune is on the soundtrack. Am I wrong, or in case I´m right, does anyone know that song´s name?

The song is "I'll Take Romance" music by Ben Oakland and lyrics by Oscar Hammerstein II.
Very beautiful, isn't it.

The lyrics:

I'll take romance

While my heart is young and eager to fly

I'll give my heart a try

I'll take romance

I'll take romance

While my arms are strong and eager for you

I'll give my arms that cue

I'll take romance

So my lover when you want me, call me

In the hush of the evening

When you call me in the hush of the evening

I'll rush to my first real romance

While my heart is young and eager and gay

I'll give my heart away

I'll take romance

I'll take romance

I'll take a chance

I'll take romance!

Romance

One of my favorites: "Shine". That's the song that Peter and his friends play when they visit Eddy at rehearsal.
The soundtrack was such an enormous hit in the mid to late '50s (I believe it was second only to the Original Broadway cast of "My Fair Lady") that another company put out a cheaper version of the soundtrack: not Carmen Cavallaro but a lesser known pianist, most of the same songs (including "Shine") and a gorgeous cover featuring Tyrone and Kim. I owned this LP when I was a boy and lost it ages ago and I've been looking for it ever since. Can anyone help me?

The original soundtrack album has been combined with another album by Carmen Cavallaro named "Eddy Duchin Remembered" and put on CD with a 12 page booklet featuring the original liner notes plus info on Cavallaro. There are 25 songs in all, but interestingly not the "missing" songs from the soundtrack album.

The label is "Fine and Mellow" number fm 604. I believe I got it on Amazon.

To TrippyTrellis, nice name, I'll let Mr. Skeffington know that you're still alive.

I noticed that Shine was missing from the IMDb soundtracks list, wrote them, gave them details and it has since been corrected.

This particular version of Shine is the best I've ever heard. It lacks only those wonderful lyrics.
