What was the year of the big black Lincoln convertible?
shareIt was a 46 to 48 Lincoln Continental.They did not change enough during those years for me to distinguish.
shareExcept for the grille and some mechanical changes (they had V-12 engines which was often trouble prone, especially overheating) there was little difference from 1940 to 1948. Not trying to go off topic but those were bad years for Ford Motor Company, financial-wise.
