EVTFS's scenes in other movies

1. I have seen footage of Ray Harryhausen's flying saucers, whether in flight or on the ground, excised from "Earth vs. the Flying Saucers" and edited into other films. They are:

a. "The 27th Day" (1957)
b. "The Giant Claw" (1957)
c. "Flying Saucer Daffy" (1958)
d. "The Three Stooges in Orbit" (1962)
e. "F for Fake" (1974)
f. "Explorers" (1985)

2. Does anyone know of any other films? Let's keep it specific ONLY to the flying saucers, NOT to standard stock shots.

"Farewell Good Brothers" used a lot of EvFS's flying saucer footage during the opening credits. Some of that footage must be out-takes from EvFS, because those exact scenes don't appear in it. It's all obviously Harryhausen stuff, though.

By the way, if you like EvFS, you'll probably enjoy FGB too. Unfortunately, you can only buy it as a tape- no DVDs were made. And I just discovered that you can watch the whole movie online at

Thanks for the update! I remember seeing a movie, but can't remember the title, unfortunately, where kids at a camp were watching EVTFS on a movie screen and the camp counselors were showing it with a 16mm projector. I specifically remember the flying saucer being fired upon by the U.S. Army's artillery while it was on the ground at Project Skyhook.
