(SPOILER) Who killed Sabourin?

I didn't get to see the ending. Who murdered him?

reply

The lawyer, Mr. O'Hara, played by John Hoyt. Claims only he could keep the money/stock that Sabourin wanted to return to his victims in order to keep himself in the U.S.

It was O'Hara, the man who Sabourin first met when buying the shares in the drug company, and who blackmailed Sabourin when he realised that Sabourin had stolen the banker's draft.

O'Hara wanted to stop Sabourin giving back the money which he had defrauded, because, as far as O'Hara was concerned, part of that money was his.

O'Hara died during the struggle, but not before delivering the shot which caused Sabourin to bleed out. Sabourin had time to apologise to, and ask the forgiveness of, his mother and Miss Kelly.
