False Advertising

What is it with Corman and his inappropriate movie titles? In Day The World Ended, the world positively has not ended - and even if we cut it some slack & interpret it as in "the world as we knew it, ended", the actual day of the apocalypse stayed off screen. Similarly, in his earlier It Conquered The World, the "It" of the title only managed to conquer a cave for one afternoon.
