Jocko, here and in Alamo

Kenneth Tobey plays Mike Fink's sidekick Jocko in this. In John Wayne's Alamo four years later, there is a character at Alamo also called Jocko, here playes by John Dierkes. They look so much alike, I'm almost certain that John Wayne put him in there as an homage to the Disney Davy Crockett, even though they could not reasonably be the same character.
