He was a gorgeous man. His looks were unreal at the time. His life was cut so short. I would of loved to see how he would of aged looks and acting wise. Nice singer as well.

shareWithout Sal, there would have been no Ralph Macchio, Scott Baio, etc. at all. I mean, while none of his early movies were box office hits(saved for Exodus and Rebel With A Cause), he really was the forerunner in the Italian American teen market to do theater work, screen acting, and singing all in one decade(the 50s) alone. Well, save for Ricky Nelson, that is. I think Sal was a trendsetter in his days. He was just one of a kind actor.
