That long, loooong 'dancing girls' segment is hilarious!

There are all those dirty smelly crude Mongols, and they are lounging around a marble palace, and out comes one troupe after another of 'dancing girls' performing in the most bizarre chiffon outfits. Right up there with "The Silver Chalice" as far as strange getups go. And Susan Hayward joins in and it is just hilarious.

Hahahaha! You too? Same thought went through my mind. LOL! Soooo bad it's magnificent!

No one knows what dancing girls looked like back then, but chiffon-clad-50's-dance-troupes? I don't think so!

I think Howard Hughes exerted a lot of influence on that scene as producer. that scene was right up his alley.

I picture mostly nekked women with a lot of long snarly black hair, painted or tattooed, maybe some leather bits and pieces. Shaking it, in a circle, to the beat of tambourines or drums. And ululating, or chanting.
