Jayne Mansfield
I've never found the hyped-up, over-glammed, bimbo image she is best know for very attractive. But when I saw her in this movie, without the big hairdo, garish makeup, and silly squeals, I was surprised at how attractive she was when made up and clothed more simply and behaving like a real person. The character she played was appealing, and she showed acting talent that had potential for development if her career had continued in a more serious direction. Too bad she died so young, without ever getting to explore that potential.
