Footage Of Black Sleep in The Brain That Wouldn't Die?

I am watching TCM Underground and they had this movie, followed by The Brain That Wouldn't Die. Right at the beginning of the movie, there is a brain surgery scene and it looks like the footage was taken right out of the Black Sleep. Anyone else notice this?
