This movie is . . .

...really entertaining, and that ending is CREEPY. I'm watching the copy I recorded off of TCM - man, thank goodness for Turner. Just as a little trivia, Peter Lorre was first offered the Akim Tamiroff role, but I don't think the offer was quite high enough, so he didn't take it - which is a bit of a drag, how cool would that have been to have Lorre in this movie.

I want to see this movie so badly, i love all the actors that are in it, Rathbone, Chaney, Lugosi, and of course Tor Johnson, the best swedish actor there ever was! (im swedish). :P

Hi Salvin - I've read that Tor Johnson was the nicest guy in real life too. Maybe you can get a copy on ebay? There's always one for sale. Not sure if your player would be compatible with the ones offered on ebay, but it's worth a look. The movie is really entertaining - Rathbone's the star, and he's excellent as usual, and everyone else gets to shine to some degree. And don't forget John Carradine, he's definitely memorable as well! Good luck, I hope you can get a copy.

You're right, but Tamiroff was good in the slimy, inhuman role.
