'China Seas' playing at the local theater?

Did anybody happen to notice "China Seas" on the movie theater marquee? Kind of odd, considering that the events in this movie were taking place in 1947, and "China Seas" was a 1935 movie...

Back then, in the pre-home video days, movies were re-released frequently. Also, in India of the 1940s, one might not expect to see the latest movies in the theaters on time.
