Just saw it on the MGM channel...

I was surprised to come here and see that the film has yet to see an official Region 1 DVD release. I would have thought that MGM would have released it under the Midnight Movies banner. I guess not.

Anyway, it was kind of a mixed bag. The first hour played out like a decent episode of an hour long TV western. The last twenty minutes had a stop motion dinosaur - which incidentally looks like a really cool toy - running around eating cows and chasing cowboys. It's odd that it was absent in the first hour, but then had essentially a twenty minute segment all to itself. I kinda think that maybe they would have been better served to have introduced the creature, gone back to the human element, and then returned to our allosaurus. It just seemed like such an uneven division of screen time.

I can't really complain though. It was enjoyable.
