Did Hitchcock Get Idea For "Birds" From This?
Several bird attacking scenes could have fit right into "The Birds" with no problem.
Kind of wish a few chicken attack scenes could be edited into "The Birds" retroactively!
Hitchcock's "The Birds" was inspired by Daphne du Maurier's novelette "The Birds", first published in 1952, i.e. three years prior to the film "The Beast with a Million Eyes".
