Could this be a movie my friend is talking about? HELP Please

My friend once told me that she saw a film when she was younger about a balloon, said that all she remembered was that there wasn't much dialog. (pretty sure she said more but this was months ago)

Could this be it?

If it was a red balloon, yes.

I don't know. The "kid with balloon" genre is pretty vast.
