Clint Eastwood (minor spoiler)

Clint Eastwood has a very minor, uncredited, role in the movie. In the cast list on IMDB, he is described as "Marine (medic) (uncredited)".

When I bought the DVD, the synopsis on the DVD mentioned that Clint Eastwood is in the cast, and implied that he had a bigger role. So much for that.

Anyway, if anyone else was looking out for his appearance, I am sure he appears at about 1:33. He is one of the two medics strapping the captain to a stretcher. He has one line: "Doctor Bell's waiting for him in Surgery, sir!".

From such minor roles, great careers develop...

Thx for the heads up! I'll be sure and keep a look out.

It's fun catching great actors in early roles. Audrey Hepburn shows up in an early Alec Guinness movie called The Lavender Hill Mob. Gary Cooper shows up in Wings as a young pilot recruit. Very small part, but he makes a great impression.
