Philip K. Dick

The "source" novel for this title (The Isotope Man) by Charles Eric Maine was published in 1957. The Golden Man was published in 1954 and this title was released in 1955. I have not read the Dick novelette but I have seen Next (2007) starring Nic Cage and they seem to tread similar ground.

Anybody familiar with the PKD story and this movie? Any relation?

"Also developed from a script, in this case his own screenplay for Timeslip (1955; vt The Atomic Man), is Maine's The Isotope Man (1957), which begins his only series, the Mike Delaney books, the other volumes in which are Subterfuge (1959) and Never Let Up (1964)."
