'Poor Cinderella!'

I love the scene where Anna comes back from a date with Prince Paul and its obvious she's had a lot to drink and it was either an opera or a ballet she saw of Cinderella and she's going "Poor Cinderella! Her coach turned back into a pumpkin and the footman into a big white rat! Do you think the glass slipper cut her foot?! Oh that ugly stepsister!" And when she gets into the elevator she calls down to Paul "Oh I forgot my compliments to the chef!" XD Kudos to Arthur Laurents's writing in that scene and Ingrid Bergman's acting!

The Ballet they saw was Sleeping Beauty not Cinderella.

No, I know but there was this scene after the ballet where Anna and Prince Paul go to and you never see it but somewhere along the line she got drunk and they were taking her back the hotel room-its a very brief scene but shows that maybe maybe Anna had too much of a good time with Paul!

I know what you're talking about. I just watched this film again yesterday. She talks about Cinderella but no relation with the ballet as it was Sleeping Beauty. Unless of course, she was so drunk that she confused both stories which would be hysterical if you think about it.

Well I think this indicated another time after they met at the ballet-and then her and Prince Paul go on a date after they saw the Sleeping Beauty ballet-and then they went to another ballet but this time it was Cinderella

I'll have to watch it again and going to trust you on that one then. Sorry about that.
