Well, well, well! More Illuminati symbolism snuck into a flick, and this is an older flick from 1956.
The general flashed the Ambassador the satanic hand sign instead of the A-OK sign behind the Senator's back at about 11:37. DEAD GIVEAWAY, but of course some sheep will chime in here to insist that it was the "I love you sign" and that the general was just signing and that everyone who sees it is just paranoid. LOL!
Isn't the satanic hand sign the pinky and index finger pointed up? He actually also has his ring finger pointed up as well. Why do I have a feeling this odd sign is lost on us or misinterpreted but someone who was the age of the general in 1956 would know what it means right away?
shareActually, the general, being in France, is well trained in the local customs. The American "OK" sign, using the index finger and thumb to form a circle means something else to the French. It indicates worthlessness or "zero". So, he's indicating "OK" in a away that is not offensive to the French.
